Ellen Hansen is a photographer, writer, and artist working between Los Angeles, the Mountain West, and New York.

She was raised by the sagebrush soaked foothills of Boise, Idaho, where she visits regularly to birth a long term body of personal work centered around inner knowing, lineage reclamation, and Earth as teacher.

Her work began in her early teens as an instinct to engage with the world around her, which evolved into a life giving force that reshaped her life completely, creating a path of reconnection to her body, intuition, and purpose.

She relates to light as both external and internal and sees beauty as a recognition of the source of all that is. She brings her connection to her vision and senses to every day, and every project she works on.
